How Corruption has become Fashion in our society?

Do you know what exactly is corruption, have you're ever tried to understand or noticed how easily it has become a member of our society. Why we don't hate it anymore? Why we don't think about it or feels shame on it. Do you know It has become a fashion in our society? Let's discuss it.

Once we start giving respect to corrupt or criminal people in our society and starting to disrespect honorable people, then slowly but surely corrupt system shall destroy whole national mentally, morally and ethically, in our society we reached a stage where all the limits are been crossed, we  now don't feel embarrassed on our acts we always try to justify it in many ways.
Then we can say that;

Corruption is now an Ethical Fashion in our society.

1. Corruption in small social businesses.

We should have noticed in our daily routine, if we are buying grocery near to our house groceries, try to check prices from 2 or 3 shops from same area, you will find prices are dissimilar in each shop on different products, try to find an answer on that from shopkeepers, you'll be obliged in different ways, prices are higher in the wholesale market or rents are bit higher in this area.

Another thing you will find out, if someone is going to shop and he is in the car, the salesperson will tell him higher price by identifying the face value of the customer because he looks a rich person and he is not going to argue much on price.

If someone is on a bike or streetwalking shopper then he'll tell little higher price then normal price because he knows after arguing he still will be able to sell his product in a higher price then the actual price for the consumer.

2. How corruption can affect us socially.

If you have gone shopping in a mall or market on a bike, you bought a ticket to park your bike from the paid parking area, unconsciously you placed your helmet on your bike assuming that this is a protected area,  after finishing your shopping you came back  to parking area to take your bike suddenly you found that your helmet was not on bike, it was stolen because it was beautiful and expensive.

If you try to ask from parking person where is your helmet that was on the bike he'll explain in you many ways letting you know that it was your mistake not ours, we don't know about it. then if you'll call the security guard or other personnel on duty, they'll tell you same because they don't want to lose the reputation of their mall or brand.

These are very simple but easy to understand example we choose for you to let you know how easily corruption can become an ethical fashion in our society and nobody is blamable.

Everyone needs to think about that, try to figure out what is wrong with us, why we are doing this If we are not going to raise such questions no one can change the mindset of people and society. We all accepted it by assuming that these acts are right.

Let's change it.............................???

Hi Zeeshan,

This is a cancer that is affecting all societies around the world. Many people in Asia, Africa, etc. think that corruption is a problem only there. I live in the US and right here, corruption is worse than in Africa and Asia or South America. It is sophisticated. It is perfected. And it is in plain sight. And just like you said, people accept it.

When we honor the corrupt people, especially those in positions of influence, and dishonor honorable people, then we know the society is mortally wounded and sick. That is what we are experiencing here in the US.

Your article is truly powerful. I would like to see you write more and elaborate more on this article and add more to it.
